A perennial semi-evergreen shrub that produces pink flowers from summer to late autumn, which are popular with bees and butterflies. Prefers well-drained soils and full sun or partial shade, and grows to 50cm tall and 45cm across.
Prune flowering stems once they have finished, to prolong flowering. No other pruning is required.
This plant has survived the recent winters here in Horfield but will be vulnerable in a very cold snap.
