Pineapple broom (also known as Moroccan broom and Cytisus battandieri) is a small tree that produces masses of yellow flowers from May to June that have a gorgeous scent of pineapple and are a magnet for bees, butterflies, hoverflies and beetles. Its silvery leaves are also very attractive from early spring to late autumn. Grows to 4m high and 4m wide in full sun and a well-drained soil.
Protect the young plants from slugs and snails.
I also have seed available if you want to grow your own.
