This short-lived perennial is hardy to -5°C. It It can be grown in a container that can be moved in the event of very cold weather, or in a flower bed where it may benefit from a winter mulch. The flowers release their scent at night and are particularly popular with moths.
Grows to 40cm tall and 20cm across in full sun or partial shade and a moist but well-drained soils. It produces attractive purple and white buds and flowers from June to August.
