Thai basil (Ocimum basilicum 'Queenette') will give your curries an authentic Thai flavour. Keep picking the leaves (especially the growing tips) and these plants will last for over a year. Each 14cm pot contains three plants.
 
These Elho pots are made from 100% recycled plastic and are recyclable although they are much better re-used!
 
Place on a sunny windowsill in autumn / winter and harvest the leaves regularly. Move the pot away from window when the weather heats up to help prevent the plant from bolting (flowering). Water generously whenever the surface of the compost is dry. There is no need to feed this plant.
 
Water well and then allow the compost surface to dry out in order to reduce the risk of getting fungus gnats (harmless but annoying tiny black flies).
