Scabious are famously popular with butterflies and these flowers are also attractive to beneficial insects, bees and other pollinators. Grows to 60cm tall and 45cm across in full sun and well-drained soils. Produces very large pale blue flowers from June to October.

This plant won't thrive in wet heavy soils over winter so treat as an annual or grow in a pot with good drainage.
