These gorgeous blue flowers, borne on black stems from summer to late autumn, are popular with bees and butterflies. This plant needs a moist but well-drained soils (or large pot) and full sun or partial shade, and grows to 1.5m tall and 90cm across.
In spring when the new shoots start growing, prune the old stems down to the lowest of the new shoots.
