Each set consists of 32 cells. When your young plants are ready to go, you can simply open each 'book' of four cells and lift each plug out, without disturbing or harming the roots. Great for growing sweetpeas, beans, sunflowers and other plants with large seed. They are also good for cuttings and potting up plugs from standard (smaller) root trainers if the young plants aren't ready to go out yet.
 
After use, rinse off any excess soil, disinfect the root trainers and re-use time-and-time again.
 
These root trainers fit within a standard seed tray (37.5cm x 23cm) or any larger tray. We also sell a basic propagator lid that fits these root trainers.
