Also known as 'Eggs & Bacon'.
A low-growing native British wildflower of grasslands and meadows. The leaves are a food source for a range of caterpillars (including the common blue and green hairstreak) while the flowers are popular with bees.
It grows to up to 25cm tall and 50cm across in full sun and a well-drained soil. Don't add any compost or similar when you plant this one as it doesn't like high nitrogen. It produces pea-like yellow and orange flowers from May to September.
