I grow wildlife-friendly plants from seed in peat-free compost without pesticides and deliver them in compostable pots by bicycle around north Bristol.
My plant of the week is the perennial wallflower 'Bowles Mauve'. It is a magnet for all kinds of pollinators and has a very long flowering season.
Check out my wildlife gardening blogs including gardening for butterflies, gardening for bees, year-round flowering, supporting garden birds, lawns for wildlife, and planting a bog garden, all written with our local soil and local wildlife in mind.
My next markets will be:

the Greenway Market on Saturday 30 May;

the Lockleaze Climate & Nature Festival on Saturday 6 June;

the Greenway Market on Saturday 27 June;

and the Laurence Weston Community Market at Ambition House on Saturday 4 July.
