Thiis plant produces the sweet mild chilli peppers that you can buy pickled or stuffed with cheese. The peppers are small, round and fleshy, which also makes them good for salsas or topping pizzas or focaccia, or even roasting. Grow in a 2 litre pot* on a sunny windowsill and water regularly. After a year, add some fresh compost. 
 
* Use a good peat-free indoor plants compost to avoid getting little flies (known as fungus gnats) in your home.
